Financial Security Advisor
“You’re a ball of energy!” Maybe it’s the DNA or maybe it’s because I simply love being with people, but I’ve heard this line since elementary school alllll the way up to the client I met this morning and everybody in between: family, friends, teachers and colleagues. They look at me in wonder. I just giggle. I’ve channeled this energy in countless directions, always trying to see how it can best serve the person I’m with. I’ve worked in the Financial Services Industry for almost six years, but I also worked in the Arts for thirteen. Contrary to all expectations, I’ve had tenfold more opportunities to showcase my energy in the financial services industry than in the Arts. In fact, these opportunities are daily. And because of that, I have added more value to clients in six years than I have to Arts patrons in thirteen. That’s my ROI. My fundamental purpose as a Financial Security Advisor is to render all aspects of financial planning easy and fun to my clients. The rest takes care of itself. After a meeting, I ask them two questions, “Was this hour we spent together valuable to you?” and “Are you better off now than yesterday, before we met?” They look at me in wonder. I just giggle. Ziad Ghanem is a Financial Security Advisor with Freedom 55 Financial, a division of Canada Life.
